Autonomous Stratospheric Drones

Sustainable and renewable energy is our main purpose at NIUTS, as we develop a new generation of Autonomic Harmonic Unmanned Aircraft (AHUA). These aircrafts will make world brighter, cleaner and more connected.

Our aircraft is solar powered and flies in the stratosphere for long intervals of time without refueling and landing on the surface of the earth. We develop an alternative solutions to satellites by exploiting forces in an optimal way. The stratosphere and the gravitational force are the main resources for our project.

A ground control station receives data from the stratosphere and directs the aircraft in a self-stabilizing (harmonic motion) maneuver. These autonomous aircrafts will be sent into a closed flight trajectory via the purposely designed (Rahal-1) multi-missions rocket system to gain the necessary thrust and altitude to maneuver.

NIUTS-AHUA is similar to satellites, its mission is to provide an alternate network that gives access to internet for rural areas around the world and alternative solutions to satellites known for their high cost in a number of fields.
